Good Friday (Lithopolis Campus)
April 18 | Lithopolis Campus
Join us for a Good Friday Three-Fold Communion Service
On Good Friday, April 18, the service will begin at 7pm with the meal starting at 6pm. This will be a time for our Lithopolis families to pause and reflect on the realities of Holy Week and prepare our hearts for Easter Sunday.
Following the Charis tradition of Three-Fold Communion, the evening will have THREE main components:
- A Meal – much like the Last Supper, we will gather with our church family and enjoy a meal together. (Bring a full meal for your family. Reserve tables below.)
- A Service – which will include a teaching, worship music, and an opportunity for footwashing. Jesus washed His disciples feet and also commanded us to do so (John 13:14-15). This experience provides an opportunity for personal examination and repentance and a reminder to humbly serve others in the church.
- Communion – designated for believers only, communion in this context allows believers to prepare themselves before taking the bread and cup.
Children under 10 years old will be dismissed to their classes after the meal.
