The Norris Family
The Norris Family
Cambodia
Peter and Amber Norris, and their children, Lena and Isaac, serve in Cambodia. Peter and Amber have been part of the Grace Brethren Fellowship of Churches most of their lives and have been serving together at Grace Fellowship since 2005. They have served as leaders in the youth group and Grace Groups, and they were blessed to be part of the team that launched the Jefferson campus.
The Norrises began exploring opportunities for international missions in 2015 when they joined a short term team to Cambodia that researched what resources were available to help the children and families living on the street and in tent cities or shanty towns. What they found was that not much was being done, and what they felt was that God was inviting them to be a part of a movement for change. So they accepted that invitation and left for Cambodia in 2020.
The family has recently concluded their first assignment and are currently exploring their next steps to serve among the Cambodian people.
Here’s how you can partner with Peter and Amber:
- Pray for their kids! They frequently cope with goodbyes and it takes a considerable toll on their family.
- Pray for quality education options for their kids. Living in the province means less access to traditional schooling opportunities.
- Pray for deepening relationships with Khmer people that result in organic discipleship.
- Pray for our Khmer staff to have a shared desire for excellence across all of our programming.
- Partner with them financially to cover monthly ongoing needs.
